Reverend CHARLES ADIE DD minister of the Church of Scotland at Tealing for 13 years and at Dundee for 34 years died 25 June 1861 in his 76 year. This stone is erected by his family JANET CRICHTON his wife died 14 November 1857 in her 73 year and is buried in the Old burying ground WILLIAM ADIE their third son Indigo Planter died Manickgunge 19 November 1855 and is buried at Dacca Bengal GEORGE ADIE their youngest son merchant Calcutta died at Paris 2 May 1864 in his 37 years and is interred here MARGARET ADIE their elder daughter died at Newport Fifeshire 16 November 1909 in her 93 year and is buried here.
